Innovation Awards Entry & Guidelines

How To Enter

  1. Complete and submit your entry online between March 16, 2015 and April 14, 2015. NOTE: Emailed and/or hard copy submissions will not be accepted.
  2. As part of your online entry, you are required to provide a minimum of two different high resolution photos of your product. Entries submitted without the required photos will not be considered.
  3. Optional: Submit a short video demonstrating and/or promoting the solution to preid@nafcu.org.
  4. You will be notified via email about your award status by May 24, 2015.

Entry Rules and Qualifications

  • Entries must be submitted through the online entry form by April 14, 2015.
  • Exclusive to the NAFCU Services Preferred Partner program.
  • Entries may include technology, products, services, related digital media campaigns, and/or any combination thereof.
  • Partners may submit multiple entries within their exclusive partner solution category.
  • The nominated innovation must have been introduced, revised, or re-launched between April 1, 2014 and April 1, 2015. This includes software updates and new versions of product lines.

Judging Criteria

Entries will be judged by a committee of industry trade journalists, credit union executives, and marketing professionals. Nominated solutions can earn a maximum of 100 points total:

  1. Degree of innovation (up to 25 points)
  2. Impact on credit union (revenue enhancement, cost reduction, time to payback of any required investment; membership retention; digital engagement; security enhancements; metrics are a plus) (up to 25 points)
  3. Overall value/contribution to credit union success (up to 25 points)
  4. Creates a sustainable competitive advantage for credit unions (up to 25 points)

Competition Timeline

  • March 16, 2015: Application process opens
  • April 14, 2015: Application process closes
  • April 27 – May 4, 2015: Innovation Awards judging
  • May 24, 2015: Entry participants notified of award status by email
  • June 24, 2015: Innovation Award Winners announced
